At 305 West End, exceptional hospitality is brought to life by the people who create it every day. During Team Member Appreciation Week, the Upper West Side community took time to recognize its team with a week of thoughtful touches, lively gatherings, friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy one another’s company.
This week began with an Around the World-inspired celebration, complete with grab-and-go treats, musical chairs, cup challenges, empanadas, ice cream, and a coffee bar. As General Manager Jonathan shared, it was a chance to celebrate “the incredible team that makes our community so special.”
Throughout the week, team members were invited to relax and recharge with spa and wellness offerings and smoothies, while a series of activities and games kept the energy up. Trivia, 305 Feud, and a donut challenge put colleagues’ knowledge to the test while creating some friendly competition.
The culinary arts took center stage during a Culinary Showdown, where teams put their cooking skills and creativity to work in an omelet-making competition. The afternoon highlighted not only individual talents, but the teamwork and camaraderie that make a great team come together for a common goal.
The week culminated in an afternoon of music, dancing, food, and celebration, followed by a Friday scavenger hunt and a visit from the ice cream truck.
As Lifestyle Director André reflected, this week was filled with “fun, connection, and well-deserved appreciation.” That spirit was evident throughout the week.
From the smallest, thoughtful gesture to the biggest celebration, the week reflected 305 West End’s appreciation for the people who bring its distinctive hospitality to life each day. It was a fitting reminder that behind every memorable experience is a team working together to make it possible.
